Howard E. Davis Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Information Officer

Howard Davis is Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Information Officer of Transocean Ltd.

Mr. Davis joined Transocean in August 2015, bringing more than 30 years of industry experience, including 13 years as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Information Officer of National Oilwell Varco (NOV). He began his career at NOV in 1981, where he started as a sales representative and went onto a variety of management positions before spending eight years, beginning in 1997, as the company's Products and Technology Group's Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During that time, Mr. Davis also took on the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Information Officer duties beginning in 2002 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2005.

Mr. Davis earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
